I’m a certified Integrative Wellness Coach, but it was quite the journey to get here. Starting out in the corporate world, I moved from London to New York City and joined a creative agency work as Community Manager and rose to a Senior Social Strategist leading global client accounts including American Express, Verizon, and Diageo. But, I couldn’t shake the feeling I was supposed to do something quite different in my career.
So, in 2019 after the loss of my father, I finally made the commitment to live more fully and purposefully and help others in the process. I decided that becoming a certified Integrative Wellness Coach, studying with the Integrative Wellness Academy, was one of the ways that I would do that.
As someone that has had a fair share of difficulties to overcome over the past 20+ years, I have always been an advocate for therapy, and have benefited greatly myself. However, I often found myself thinking I had a great intellectual understanding of my problems, and often their roots, but that knowledge alone was not enough to make real changes in my life.
This led to me developing a passion for other means of self-development and spiritual growth, which I’ve fuelled over the last 8+ years with endless courses, books and group memberships.
Many years ago I discovered mindfulness and meditation, prompted by dealing with depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, and I’ve since incorporated a variety of other holistic practices such as Reiki (i’m a level 2 practitioner) into my daily life.
My growing awareness of the connection between Mind, Body and Spirit, and the integration of these practices has helped facilitate my healing and transformation and the development of & Alchemy to help others.
