FAQs
What is the difference between Life Coaching & Therapy?
Therapy tends to be a long-term process where you work with a licensed therapist, or counselor to diagnose and resolve problematic beliefs, behaviors, relationship issues & feelings. This work is mainly rooted in the past and introspection and analysis.
Life Coaching is more future and action-orientated. Coaches help you clarify goals and identify obstacles and problematic behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results.
What makes Integrative Wellness Coaching unique?
Integrative Wellness Coaching is unique because it is based on the belief that problems need to be addressed from the Inside Out and Outside In. This means that things like behaviour modifications and strategies that show up on the outside (Outside In) are combined with things like overcoming core issues, limiting beliefs & negative patterns/habits which are on the inside (Inside Out).
The Holistic Life Model used in Integrative Wellness Coaching is based on the belief that we all have four parts of self. These are the Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual systems. We must have wellness in all four areas to feel balanced and live our best lives.
Which healing modalities are included in Integrative Wellness Coaching?
The exact healing modalities used are tailored to the specific needs of each client. A modality is only used if it resonates with you.
Modalities such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Emotional Freedom Technique, Meditation & Breathwork are some of those I work with.
I am also a certified Reiki Level Two practitioner and have used the practice while working with some clients it resonates with.
How many sessions will I work with you?
The number of sessions I would recommend you work with me is dependent on your current situation and goals, which we will discuss on your free discovery call.
At the start of our relationship, we work together to define the timescale to ensure that our time together is productive and you get the most benefit.
